Kit Frascella, also known as SunnyG to her radio fans, is a college student at Montclair State College who is entering her final semester pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Animation/ Illustration and Marketing as of Spring 2025.

Kit is spunky and full of charm. Her passion is art, music and radio. But she is a jack of all trades with talents in music history, photography, filmmaking, dance, and acting. She has her own column in the college magazine and is a primary host at her university’s radio station.

She is a huge Monkees fan, collector and enthusiast. Kit has been working on a Monkees cartoon spinoff for several years as her dream is to make the series a reality one day as a love letter to the Monkees and 1960’s decade. Her creation of Kitty, as Nez’s girlfriend, is a beloved heroine who uses her girl power to succeed as the boy’s reporter in the series. Kit has had her work recognized in many on air interviews and in a magazine..

While Kit loves the Monkees guys and their music, her favorite is Mike Nesmith. She has had a close connection with him beginning with the creation of her iconic handcrafted Nudie Suit in his honor .. She cherishes her interactions with Nez, as he has provided to this day with great inspiration for her work and creative spirit.

Kit says it’s a dream come true for her to be on the MMR station ,as she feels like this is home and where she can live out her dream of being a Monkee; By being MMR’s favorite Sunny Girlfriend.
